Our Story
Our founder, Paul Weiner, started serving South Florida’s senior citizen community in 1987 through Walk’n Shoes—the comfort-focused, customer-centric shoe store that he opened in Boca Raton, FL with his late father, David Weiner.
Over the next eight years, Paul repeatedly overheard his diabetic customers complaints—specifically, that they wished their diabetic suppliers cared as much as the Walk’n Shoes team did. So, in 1995, Paul launched Diabetic Footwear & Supply (DF&S) to provide South Florida’s diabetic senior citizens the customer-first diabetic supplier they deserve.
Today, despite its growth, DF&S still provides the same level of personalized, expert service that its customers have come to expect and appreciate. DF&S remains a family-owned and operated business, an ethos that drives everything we do—now and always.
